Sandy loam with pebbles, medium-low fertility. Low percentage of organic material. Good drainage and low salinity.
Color: Brilliant dark crimson, with darker glints.
Nose: Toasted, smoked notes, backed by sweet spices and pulpy and juicy prunes. Sweet.
Mouth: Sweet mouth attack. Concentrated virtues of the great Malbec wines, fruity, with an excellent wood backing that does not stand out or overshadow it.
Harsh winters and hot summers with temperate or hot days and very cold nights. The daily temperature range is about 15º C during the growing development stage, favoring a very good production of color and tannins.
Meat, pasta, stews, legumes, mature cheese.
100% of this wine was aged in new French oak barrels for 19 months, bottled on December 28th 2010 and stowed at 12ºC for 12 months before being put on the market
