Sandy loam with pebbles, medium-low fertility. Low percentage of organic material. Good drainage and low salinity.
100% of this wine was aged in new French oak barrels for 19 months, bottled on September 29th 2011 and stowed at 12ºC for 12 months before being put on the market.
Storage: Up to 10 years.
Color: Dark violet red.
Nose: Tobacco and cinnamon aromas, with notes of crystallized soft fruits.
Mouth: Velvety, with spicy notes, dried fruits and long aftertaste.
Harsh winters and hot summers with temperate or hot days and very cold nights. The daily temperature range is about 15º C during the growing development stage, favoring a very good production of color and tannins.
Meat, pasta, stews, legumes, mature cheese.
