Sandy loam with pebbles, medium-low fertility. Low percentage of organic material. Good drainage and low salinity.

Varietal composition

100% Malbec


The wine was fermented in concrete vats without an epoxy coating for 17 to 20 days. The cap was subjected to punching down and pumping over. Fermentation temperature: 25 ºC / 77 ºF.

Tasting notes

Color: Deep purplish red with inky hues.
Nose: fresh red fruits, among which plums stand out on a background of mint, vanilla and white chocolate.
Palate: Sweet on the attack, with velvety tannins. A vibrant wine offering good acidity.
Outstanding structure, with a smooth, persistent finish.



Harsh winters and hot summers with temperate or hot days and very cold nights. The daily temperature range is about 15º C during the growing development stage, favoring a very good production of color and tannins.


Meat, pasta, stews, legumes, mature cheese.


Year 2017


Aged for 12 months in 225-liter oak barrels, 500-liter casks and 3500 liter fourdres, and further aged in the bottle for another six.
